昆虫肠道微生物多样性对宿主的生长发育以及营养物质的消化和吸收等起着非常重要的作用。本研究利用16S rRNA基因序列构建神农洁蜣螂Catharsius molossus雌性成虫和雄性成虫肠道微生物的克隆文库,旨在探究其菌群的结构并加以对比和分析,采用Illumina NovaSeq高通量测序的方法揭示两种菌群组成方面的相似性和差异性。结果表明:神农洁蜣螂雌性成虫和雄性成虫肠道微生物在结构和组成方面存在着一定的差异。雌性成虫肠道菌群的物种丰富度和物种多样性都高于雄性成虫。雌性成虫、雄性成虫体内肠道菌群共有1 253个ASVs,归属于20个门、35个纲、54个目、134个科、253个属,其中雌性成虫肠道菌群的ASVs有1 024个,而雄性成虫肠道菌群的ASVs有410个,二者优势菌群虽然都为阴道球菌属Vagococcus,但二者所占的比例不同。本研究分析了神农洁蜣螂雌雄成虫肠道微生物多样性及群落在结构和组成方面的差异,为探究神农洁蜣螂雌雄成虫的肠道微生物的潜在功能,以及其肠道菌群的开发应用提供了理论支持。 |

The diversity of the gut microbiota in insects plays a very important role in the growth and development of the host with the digestion and absorption of nutrients. This study utilized 16S rRNA gene sequences to construct a clone library of gut microbiota, investigating and comparing the microbial community structures of female and male adults of Catharsius molossus. High-throughput sequencing with Illumina NovaSeq technology was employed to reveal the similarities and differences in microbial composition between the two groups. The findings revealed substantial differences in gut microbiota composition and structure between female and male adults of C. molossus. Species richness and diversity of the gut microbiota were higher in females. Both females and males shared 1253 ASVs within their gut microbiota, classified into 20 phyla, 35 classes, 54 orders, 134 families, and 253 genera. Specifically, the gut microbiota of females contains 1 024 ASVs, while that of males contains 410 ASVs. While both exhibited Vagococcus as a dominant genus, the proportions differed between the two sexes. This study analyzed the diversity of gut microbiota and the differences in community structure and composition between male and female adults of C. molossus, providing theoretical support for exploring the potential functions of gut microbiota and their practical applications. |
