| The paper discusses the necessity to carry out the case-base teaching method in teaching of Plant Quarantine according to the characteristics of Plant Quarantine. The application of case-based teaching method in Plant Quarantine course，which the fire ant Solenopsis invita invasion was as a case example，was discussed. The results showed that case-based teaching method activated the classroom atmosphere， improved the learning interest，initiative and creativity of students. This method can be widely used in
teaching． |
