      豆天蛾Clanis bilineata tsingtauica原本是我国大豆上的重要害虫,目前已是我国一种独特的昆虫美食,但是其越冬特点仍然不清楚,这也制约了豆天蛾的产业发展。因此,本研究系统分析了江苏地区食用豆天蛾的越冬行为、过冷却点变化、滞育行为等特征。结果表明,豆天蛾在江苏地区主要通过老熟幼虫兼性滞育的方式进行越冬,同时,11月份的滞育强度最低。豆天蛾越冬幼虫的过冷却点符合正态分布,1月份的过冷却点较其他三个月显著降低。利用装置模拟豆天蛾幼虫入土越冬情况表明,其幼虫入土深度与环境温度略呈负相关趋势,但无显著性差异。该研究结果探明了豆天蛾的越冬特性,为后续豆天蛾的产业化发展提供应用基础。
英文摘要:
      Clanis bilineata tsingtauica, traditionally regarded as a major soybean pest in China, has recently gained recognition as a novel edible insect delicacy in China's food industry. However, knowledge gaps regarding its overwintering biology have constrained commercial development. This study systematically analyzed the overwintering behavior, supercooling point (SCPs) variation,and diapause characteristic of C. bilineata tsingtauica in Jiangsu Province. Our findings demonstrated that final instar larvae overwinter through facultative diapause, with diapause intensity reaching minimal levels in November. The supercooling points of overwintering larvae followed a normal distribution, with January specimens showing significantly lower SCPs compared to other months. Simulated experiments on larval digging behavior demonstrated that larval burrowing depth showed a slight negative correlation trend with ambient temperature,but the difference was not significant. These results provide crucial insights into the overwintering physiology of C. bilineata tsingtauica, establishing a scientific foundation for its commercial production.
