| Panaphis juglandis（Goeze）is a major walnut pest, firstly reported in Yili, Xinjiang, China. In this paper, the morphology, biological traits, population dynamics, historical distribution and potential risks of P.juglandis were introduced in order to provide a scientific basis for preventing further spreading of P.juglandisin China. |
