In order to explore the application technology of preventing and controlling Bemisia tabaci on vegetables with preference plants and low preference plants, the influence on B. tabaci of different planting patterns with celery, mint and pepper was studied in this paper. The results showed that intercropping pepper fields with celery at a density of 3∶1 or 5∶1 could reduce the number of adult B.tabaci significantly, while the density of 8∶1 had no obvious effect; intensively planting 5 rows of mint in either end of the pepper field and 5 rows of celery in the other end, the adult B. tabaci on the pepper had comparatively decreased by more than 29% in 15 days; intensively planting 5 rows of mint in either end of the pepper field and intercropping 5 rows of celery in the other end at a respective density of 3∶1 and 5∶1, the adult B. tabaci on the pepper had comparatively decreased by 38.57% and 25.71%. The results indicated that celery had a good repellent effect on B. tabaci, and intercropping celery while intercropping mint in the other end of the field can improve the repellent effect.. |
