The antennal sensory sensilla of the parasitoid Diachasmimorpha longicaudata Ashmead were observed with scanning electron microscopy. The antennal of D.longicaudata were formed with scape, pedicel and flagellum composed 49-52 subsegments.Eight morphogically distinct types of sensilla were found on the antennae, including bhm bristle, sensilla trichoidea, sensilla chaetica, sensilla basiconica, sensilla placoid, sensilla coeleoconicaⅠand Ⅱ, sensilla campaniformia, smell pore.Sensilla trichoidea was the main sensor, the large number and wide distribution, followed by the sensor was placoid.Except sensilla coeleoconica Ⅱ, there were no distinct differences between male and female parasitic wasp |
