1. Open Access Statement
Journal of Environmental Entomology flipped to an open access journal in 2024, using the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. All articles published from issue 1 of 2024 onwards are open access works, which are archived on the journal's official website immediately after publication and are permanently available to all users free of charge. In addition, users may copy, distribute and use the articles in any media and format, provided they follow the terms of the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, including:
When copying and distributing the open access articles published in the journal, users must provide appropriate attribution, include a link to the license, and indicate if any changes have been made to the original article. Attribution may be done in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the journal endorses the use. The articles cannot be used for commercial purposes. 2. Copyright Policy
Authors are required to sign and submit the Publication and Copyright Transfer Agreement at the time of submission. According to this agreement, once an article is accepted by the journal, the author(s) will transfer the full copyright of the article to the editorial office of Journal of Environmental Entomology, including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, translation, performance, compilation and adaptation, and all other transferable copyrights in the article of print version and electronic versions (such as CD-ROMs and online versions). The editorial office of the journal will be the copyright holder of the article.
After an article is published in the journal, the author(s) of the article will have the following rights:
(1) The author(s) may use the article under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, for example, using the article in non-commercial activities such as study, research, lecturing and teaching.
(2) The author(s) may use the article for other activities permitted and authorized by the editorial office of the journal.

3. Archiving & Availability
(1) Articles published in the journal before 2024 are not open access. The copyright of these articles belongs to the editorial office of the journal, and all rights are reserved by the editorial office. Users who require these articles may access them through China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) or other platforms on a paid basis.
(2) Author Self-Archiving: Authors are allowed to store all versions of their articles in an institutional or other repository of their choice. In the repository, it should be indicated that the article was originally published in Journal of Environmental Entomology.
