The effects of temperatures (19℃, 22℃, 25℃, 28℃ and 31℃)on the feeding capacity, feeding rate, approximate digestion and food utilization efficiency of Heterolocha jinyinhuaphaga Chu larvae was studied in the laboratory. The results showed that temperatures affected them significantly. At low temperatures(19℃and 22℃), its feeding capacity, feeding rate, approximate digestion and food utilization efficiency were lower. With the increasing of temperature, the feeding capacity, feeding rate, approximate digestion and food utilization efficiency increased gradually. At 25℃, they reached maximum, which were 607.36 mg, 27.47 mg/d, 58.45% and 20.81%, respectively, and decreased at high temperatures. According to the established regression model on average feeding capacity, feeding rate, approximate digestion, food utilization efficiency and temperatures, the optimum temperature for the biggest feeding capacity, feeding rate, approximate digestion and food utilization efficiency were calculated as 26.15℃, 25.02℃, 25.38℃ and 25.30℃, respectively. |
