Acoustic sensing technology, as a simple, practical and effective technical means, has been widely used in agriculture (crops, trees) and food safety (grains, fresh fruits, dried fruits, etc.). Significant progress has been made in pest detection, monitoring and early warning, biological research, and prevention and control, and some acoustic measuring equipment has been developed. This paper delineates several contemporary acoustic sensing methodologies employed in insect detection, encompassing impact acoustic technology, piezoelectric sensor technology, and ultrasonic detection technology. Furthermore, we discuss their application prospects, aiming to provide reference for the research and application of acoustic sensing technology in the field of insect detection. |
