| 粪金龟科Geotrupidae隶属于昆虫纲Insecta鞘翅目Coleoptera多食亚目Polyphaga金龟总科Scarabaeoidea。目前世界已知4亚科11族77属1 162种（亚种），中国记录3亚科13属205种（亚种）。粪金龟食性多样，粪食性种类是生态系统中重要的分解者，菌食性种类可能有助于菌根真菌传播孢子，而少数植食性种类为农林业害虫。本文通过系统梳理相关文献，回顾并总结了粪金龟科的分类学研究历史、分类地位和系统发育研究现状。研究表明，粪金龟科的研究历史悠久，但科级单系性仍存在争议，且自1912年以来，缺乏更新的世界性系统修订。本研究重点阐述了我国粪金龟研究现状，并提供了种类列表及中文名对照。目前涉及中国种类的粪金龟研究主要以新种发表为主，缺乏全面记述和近缘属、种厘定工作。此外，我国粪金龟科分布格局尚不明确，生态学和生物学研究相对薄弱。因此，亟需深入开展粪金龟分类学研究，以期为系统评估我国昆虫资源现状、生物多样性及生态保护提供重要的基础数据和理论支持。 |

| Geotrupidae, commonly known as earth-boring dung beetles, is a family of Scarabaeoidea belonging to Polyphaga of the order Coleoptera, class Insecta. This family is widely distributed around the world, includes four subfamilies, 11 tribes, 77 genera, and 1 162 species / subspecies. In China, three subfamilies, 13 genera, and 205 species / subspecies are recorded. Geotrupids have diverse feeding habits: coprophagous species, which play an important role as decomposers in ecosystems; mycophagous species, which may assist in the dispersal of mycorrhizal fungal spores; and phytophagous species, some of which are agricultural and forest pests. This study systematically reviews the literature to summarize the history of taxonomic research, classification status, and current progress in the phylogenetic research of Geotrupidae. This family has a long history of study in taxonomy, while the monophyly of Geotrupidae at the family level remains controversial, and there has been no new comprehensive systematic worldwide revision since 1912. In particular, this study focuses on the taxonomic study of geotrupids from China, and provides a checklist of the recorded species together with their corresponding Chinese common names. The taxonomic research of Geotrupidae in China has been primarily focused on the description of new species, with limited progress made in comprehensive revisions of Chinese species and in distinguishing of morphologically similar genera and species. In addition, the distribution patterns of Geotrupidae in China as well as their habits, ecological niches and biological studies are still poorly understood. Therefore, further studies on the taxonomy of Geotrupidae, which could provide crucial basic data on species diversity, are essential for a systematic assessment of the current state of insect resources, biodiversity and ecological conservation in China. |
