| 【目的】探索沃尔巴克氏体不育蚊(白纹伊蚊Aedes albopictus)在开放性复杂城市环境中的应用,为基于该技术的登革热防控策略提供科学依据。【方法】2023年5-11月,以佛山市禅城区垂虹公园为释放区、周边社区为缓冲区、南浦公园为对照区开展沃尔巴克氏体不育蚊(PAB雄蚊)的释放试点。经5周本地数据收集后,6月开始分别连续24周、22周在释放区和缓冲区释放PAB雄蚊以控制野生白纹伊蚊种群。整个研究过程中,分别使用BG-trap法和诱蚊诱卵器法每周收集3个区域雌蚊诱捕密度和平均幼虫孵化数数据,并统计这释放区和缓冲区这两项指标相对于对照区的下降率,评估PAB雄蚊的种群压制效果。与此同时,采用人诱法连续5个月随机统计释放区和对照区白纹伊蚊叮咬指数,评估PAB雄蚊对释放区白纹伊蚊叮咬率的控制效果。【结果】2023年6月至11月,释放区和缓冲区一共释放PAB雄蚊815.04万头,释放区和缓冲区释放密度分别为8.69头/m2/周和1.13头/m2/周。成蚊和幼虫监测数据显示,PAB雄蚊释放后对野生白纹伊蚊种群的压制效果显著,对释放区和缓冲区的白纹伊蚊雌蚊压制效率分别为80.83%和64.01%,对幼虫压制效率分别为76.53%和62.74%。人诱法所得叮咬指数在释放区和对照区的比较结果显示,释放区的白纹伊蚊叮咬率显著低于对照区,叮咬指数相较于对照区稳定下降了88.51%。【结论】PAB雄蚊的持续释放在开放性复杂城市环境中的释放能够高效地控制野生媒介白纹伊蚊种群数量,并大幅降低白纹伊蚊叮咬水平,有效遏制目标控制区域登革热形成本地社区传播的潜在风险。 |

| 【Aim】This study aims to explore the application of Wolbachia-transinfected sterile mosquitos (Aedes albopictus) in complex urban open environment to provide scientific evidence for dengue control strategies based on this technology.【Methods】From May to November 2023, a pilot project for the release of Wolbachia-transinfected sterile mosquitoes (PAB males) was carried out with Chuihong Park, Chancheng District, Foshan City as the release site, the surrounding communities as the buffer site, and Nanpu Park as the control site. After five weeks of baseline data collection, PAB male mosquitoes were released into the release site and buffer site for 24 and 22 consecutive weeks, respectively, starting in June to control the wild A. albopictus population. Throughout the study, BG-traps and ovitraps were used weekly to collect the data on female density and average hatched-larvae number in the three sites. The reduction rates of these two indicators in the release site and the buffer site were compared to the control site to evaluate the population suppression efficiency of PAB male release. Additionally, the human landing catch method was used to randomly assess the biting index of A. albopictus in the release site and control site over five consecutive months to evaluate the effect of PAB male mosquitoes in controlling the biting rate of A. albopictus in the release site.【Results】From June to November 2023, a total of 8,150,400 PAB males were released into the release and buffer sites, with weekly release dose of 8.69 males/m2 and 1.13 males/m2, respectively. Monitoring data of adults and larvae showed that the release of PAB males achieved a significant suppression effect on the wild A. albopictus population. The suppression efficiency of female A. albopictus in the release and buffer sites was 80.83% and 64.01%, respectively, and the suppression efficiency of larvae was 76.53% and 62.74%, respectively. Comparison of the A. albopictus biting index through human landing catches between the release site and the control site showed that the biting rate of A. albopictus in the release site was significantly lower than that in the control site, with the biting index in the release site steadily decreasing by 88.51% compared to the control site.【Conclusion】The continuous release of PAB males in complex urban open environments can effectively control the population of wild A. albopictus and substantially reduce the mosquito biting rate, effectively mitigating the potential risk of local community transmission of dengue within the target control areas. |
