      【目的】为了解胡蜂食性特征,探明其在生态系统中的作用和功能。【方法】本研究于2023年7-8月,在云南省临沧市邦东乡大雪山风景区,以4种主要野生胡蜂为对象,采集胡蜂粪便,利用DNA宏条形码技术,研究其食物组成,并依此判定4种胡蜂的食性差异。【结果】研究共获得有效序列3 010 385条,聚类为1 715个可操作分类单元(OTUs),注释到7门15纲45目,其中131种注释到科水平。胡蜂捕食对象主要为后生动物门的生物,以鳞翅目、双翅目和鞘翅目等昆虫为主。4种胡蜂捕食的昆虫群落存在显著差异,同时食物组成存在部分重叠。【结论】研究以临沧大雪山风景区调查点为例,通过揭示云南省4种主要胡蜂食物组成,探明其食性差异,为胡蜂资源开发利用和科学人工养殖奠定理论基础和科学依据。

      【Aim】To explore the dietary composition and ecological roles and functions of vespine wasps.【Methods】We collected fecal samples from four major wild hornet species. Sampling was conducted in the Daxueshan Scenic Area, Lincang, Yunnan Province, during July and August 2023. Metabarcoding of fecal DNA was performed to characterize their diets, thereby determining the dietary differences among the four hornet species.【Results】The study successfully yielded a total of 3 010 385 valid sequences, which were clustered into 1 715 operational taxonomic units (OTUs). These OTUs were assigned to 7 phyla, 15 classes, 45 orders, and 131 families. Metazoa constituted the primary dietary component, with Lepidoptera, Diptera, and Coleoptera being the most abundant prey taxa. Although prey composition varied significantly among the four species, several prey items were shared.【Conclusion】Using the Daxueshan Scenic Area survey site in Lincang as a case study, our results reveal interspecific variation in prey composition and dietary diversity of four major hornet species in Yunnan Province, providing a theoretical foundation and scientific basis for the resource utilization, development, and scientific artificial breeding of hornets.
