      黑水虻Hermetia illucens L.是一种广泛应用于废弃物管理及资源化利用的昆虫,其幼虫能迅速降解和转化有机废弃物,同时产生一种高价值副产品——虫粪。黑水虻虫粪不仅富含氮、磷、钾等多种营养成分,且含有大量有机质及微量元素,有较高的肥料潜力。此外,虫粪中的生物活性物质对于改善土壤结构、提升土壤微生物活性以及促进植物生长等方面均具有显著效果。目前,关于虫粪的研究取得了诸多进展,包括虫粪的理化性状、活性物质组成、作为添加剂辅料的应用现状以及生物稳定性的改良方式等,但虫粪中抗菌肽以及潜在的新型污染物(微塑料、抗生素及抗性基因)对环境的影响仍未被充分研究,亟需进一步探索。为此,本文综述了黑水虻虫粪的营养成分、应用现状及其资源化应用技术的进展,并对虫粪资源化过程中的挑战与发展方向进行了深入分析,尤其是针对虫粪中可能存在的环境污染物及其潜在危害,提出了未来研究应关注的重点领域,以期为今后黑水虻虫粪的深入研究及应用提供参考。

      Black soldier fly larvae(Hermetia illucens L.,BSFL)are increasingly utilized in waste management and resource recovery due to their remarkable ability to rapidly degrade and convert organic waste into high-value by-products, particularly larvae frass. This frass is rich in essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as substantial amounts of organic matter and trace elements, thereby exhibiting significant potential as a sustainable fertilizer. Moreover, bioactive compounds present in the frass have been reported to enhance soil structure, stimulate microbial activity and promote plant growth. Recent researches have made substantial progress in characterizing the physicochemical properties of BSFL frass, identifying its bioactive components, exploring its use as a soil amendment or supplement, and developing strategies to improve its biological stability. However, potential environmental concerns associated with the presence of antimicrobial peptides and emerging contaminants—such as microplastics, antibiotics and antibiotic resistance genes—remain insufficiently studied and warrant further investigation. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the nutritional composition, current applications and recent technological advancements in the valorization of BSFL frass. It also critically examines the challenges and future directions in its recycling and resource utilization, with particular emphasis on potential environmental risks. Suggestions are offered to guide future research and promote the sustainable development of BSFL frass-based applications.
