In this study，the spatial distribution pattern of the larve of L. trifolii in tomato and cowpea was analyzed with Iwao' s distribution function，Taylor' s power law and six aggregation indexes. The results showed that the spatial distribution pattern of the larve of L. trifolii in tomato and cowpea were all aggregated，and the basic component of the distribution was individual colony. Through the distribution parameters，used the Kc method，Iwao method and Taylor method to calculate theoretical sampling number of L. trifolii in field under different precision．

The Belt and Road Initiative possessed a far reaching influence on agricultural entomology and pest control. The implementation of the Initiative brought opportunities together with challenges to plant and animal quarantine will be more stringent, more accurate and smooth unhindered prediction and forecast for the migratory insects, more effective management as well. Meanwhile, more opportunities were presented for the development of new control agents, and more market demands for various pesticide preparations and equipment for plant protection. The discipline Agricultural Entomology and Pest Control belongs to the discipline Plant Protection. Therefore, new strategies for talent cultivation for plant protection were proposed by the analysis of the influence of the initiative on the discipline Plant Protection. The course system should be optimized at first to get a firm professional foundation. The advanced international talents should be cultivated by the reform methods such as the combination of plant protection and English plus of a minority language, the establishment of the international class for plant protection, and the open of a series of general courses of “the Belt and Road” for understanding the language policy and habit in counties on the Belt and Road Ultimately, the mutual prosperity in the professional field of plant protection of countries in the region of the Belt and Road should be achieved.

Effects of 9 adhesives on the shaping, water resistance of termite cellulose bait and feeding of termites were compared in order to explore the shaping technology of termite bait. The results showed that 20% or 40% of dextrin, 50% or 100% of melamine formaldehyde resin, 10% or 20% and 40% of sesbania gum, carrageenan, chitosan, gelatin; 10% or 50% and 100% of polyvinyl alcohol and sodium silicate had better performance on shaping effect of microcrystalline cellulose. The shore hardness of cellulose block bait was significantly higher than the control after treatment with these adhesives. The results of water resistance test showed that the grade index of collapse of the cellulose block baits which were treated with 50% polyvinyl alcohol, 100% polyvinyl alcohol and 100% melamine formaldehyde resin were 1.33, 1.00 and 2.00 after 30 d, respectively, but other block baits all reached grade index 3. However, the results of bioassay showed that the consumption rate of cellulose block bait was significantly lower than the control after treatment with 50% or 100% polyvinyl alcohol and 100% melamine formaldehyde resin in 7 d s no choice feeding test under laboratory conditions. It indicated that these adhesives which were added into the block bait had a certain influence on the feeding of termites. In summary, 50% or 100% polyvinyl alcohol and 100% melamine formaldehyde resin are suitable for the shaping technology of termite cellulose bait, but further optimization of the formula of block bait is needed to obtain a kind of termiteliked block bait.
